Where your data is

  • Application servers and the database that holds accounts, query history, reports and the billing ledger are in Singapore.
  • Queries to public sources leave through our query gateway in Singapore; a gateway in Hong Kong is kept only as a standby fallback.
  • Encrypted off-site backups are stored in France (European Union).

How we obtain information

  • We use official registry APIs, official open-data releases and passively observable public information (DNS, certificates, web archives, public lists).
  • We do not crawl or enumerate websites, do not log in to anything on your behalf, and do not get around access controls.
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not buy personal-data lists.
  • Every fact in a report keeps its source link and retrieval time, so anyone can re-check it.

Data sources & coverage

Facts, not opinions

A report states what each source returned and when. It does not score the company, rank it or give a verdict on it. Where a source returned nothing or could not be reached, the report says exactly that.
