VAT / business number lookup

One exact lookup of the number at the official source: EU VIES (European Commission), UK HMRC, Australian ABN Lookup or the New Zealand NZBN register. The source's own record is shown as returned.

The name is not searched anywhere. It is only shown beside the name the source returns, so you can read the two side by side.

EU VAT numbers start with the member-state prefix (DE, FR, NL …; Greece EL, Northern Ireland XI). UK VAT: GB + 9 or 12 digits. ABN: 11 digits. NZBN: 13 digits. The format and check digit are tested here first; a number that fails is not sent.

Visitors: up to 10 lookups per 24 hours; signed-in accounts: up to 100.
